2018/2019 DRAFT Alignments

These alignments are in DRAFT form and are presented so that players, captains, club reps, and club professionals can be aware of where their teams have been placed for the upcoming season and where there are opportunities to field new teams. The VSL is hoping to have the FINAL teams and schedule in place on SportyHQ no later than Friday, Sept 21, 2018.
- If you notice an error let your club pro know so that they can contact the league coordinator.
- Please note that teams are promoted based on season play not playoffs.

These are the divisional alignments for the Open divisions for next season. Club professionals are asked to confirm with their captains and players and let the league coordinator know of any requested changes, or new team requests, as soon as possible.

UPDATE: There were some issues with the ranking of teams due to SportyHQ including playoff results into the season totals. The new alignments below show end of season totals (which dictate whether teams are promoted or relegated) as well as playoff totals.
As of July 14, 2015, the following requests have been submitted to the VSL Board – in this order:
- HOL requests a NEW Div 4 Open team
- HOL requests a NEW Div 6 Open team
- BON C4 Open requests to stay in Div 4
- BEN requests a NEW Div 2 Open team
- BEN C3 Div 3 Open team – DROPPED
- VRC B2 In the Nick Open requests to move up and fill the BYE in Div 1 Open
- SCF 1 TC Open requests to stay in Div 1 Open
- BAY E7 Barracudas Open – Now playing out of The River Club
- EVE B1 Open – DROPPED
- ARB requests a NEW Div 4 OR Div 5 Open team
- BON 2 WB Open requests to stay in Div 2
- EVE B6 Open requests to move up to Div 5
- VRC requests one of it’s 3 DIV 3 OPEN teams move to DIV 4
- HOL A2 DIV 2 Open requests to move up to Div 1
- BON B3 Open requests to stay in Div 3

UPDATED DRAFT #3 – August 7
We are currently keeping byes spread out throughout the divisions while we wait on confirmation of the format of Division 1 and any possible repercussions that might occur as a result of a “draft” of players.
As of July 14, 2015, the following requests have been submitted to the VSL Board – in this order:
- VRC requests a NEW Div 6 Women’s team
Updated July 14 to show end of 2014/2015 season point totals before and after playoffs. Note: The playoffs do not count toward the league’s divisional alignments.
